The Way
John 14:1-6 KJV
Jesus claimed to be “The Way”...to come to God the Father. Jesus did not say he was “A Way”...but “The Way, The Truth and The Life” (the antidote for sin and death) and that no one comes to the Father except by Him.
So, Is He The Way?
John 3:16-18 KJV
Verse 16
We are told that God gave his only (one) son.
We are promised that if we believe in Him that we'll not perish but have everlasting life.
Verse 17
We are told that God had a purpose for sending his Son...so that the world might be saved through Him.
(Notice that there is no claim of anyone being saved through a religion, a code of ethics or by following the teachings of any other spiritual teacher or prophet. There is only a claim of people being saved through Him. He who is the only Son of God.)
Verse 18
Here we are told that if we believe on Him we are not condemned.
(Again, no rescue from condemnation is promised to anyone except those who believe on Him.)
Then...the Scripture states that he who believes not...is condemned. Believes not what?
He who believes not is condemned because...”He has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God”.
Scripture states emphatically here that those who do not believe in the name of the only son of God are condemned.
Acts 4:10-12 KJV
Peter...and Scripture state here that...

There is no salvation in any other name but Jesus.

There is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved....and
-
So...The name of Jesus is the name through which we must be saved.
1 John 2:23 NKJV
“deny” = to deny, reject or refuse.
“acknowledge” = to confess, to say the same thing as another, to agree.
To agree with Jesus is to agree with him that he is The Way!
Good News Translation - For those who reject the Son reject also the Father; those who accept the Son have the Father also.
New International Readers Version - Those who say no to the Son don't belong to the Father. But anyone who says yes to the Son belongs to the Father also.
New International Version 2011 - No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
New Living Translation - Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
God's Word Translation - Everyone who rejects the Son doesn’t have the Father either. The person who acknowledges the Son also has the Father.
Wycliffe New Testament - For each that denieth the Son, hath not the Father; but he that acknowledgeth the Son, hath also the Father.
New Century - Whoever does not accept the Son does not have the Father. But whoever confesses the Son has the Father, too.
1 John 5:11-12 NKJV
Scripture states here...

Life is in God's Son (We are not told that life is anywhere else.)

He who has the Son has life.
-
He who doesn't have the Son doesn't have life.
We have found Five Scripture passages that say the same thing; that Jesus is The Way to God and Eternal Life!
Every individual person on the earth has one primary problem.
Sin...which produces Judgment and Eternal Death!
There is only One Solution for our Problem!
Only One Person ever did anything to Cleanse and Forgive our Sin or to Erase or Expunge our record.
Only One Person had the Purity, Position or Power to Take our Punishment and Save us with his Substitutionary Death
Only One Person was Sent by God to do the Job.
Only One Person ever did what it took to save us or even claimed to do what it took to save us!
Only One Person ever died for the sins of the world...and then was raised from the dead to prove it!
Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
We must decide to Believe or to Not Believe!
