Living Life 8
Contrary to what evolutionists believe, earth life is not evolving but devolving. The death sentence incurred through Adam's sin has caused life to be shortened by death...good to be compromised by evil...order to be replaced by chaos...and that which was created in perfection to suffer ongoing decomposition. New things don't stay new and pretty things won't stay pretty. Bad things happen to all people.
So, everyone who lives life on this sin cursed planet encounters both good and bad times, pleasures and pains, happiness and sadness, celebration and challenge. But God, has given us some things that help us to connect with Him and his strength and power to live life, to make it in life. We've learned about several of these keys, tools or APPS this month. Today we learn one more very important APP that has a powerful ability to connect us with God's power and help!

Prayer
There are three different kinds of prayer that will connect you with God and his help.
Asking
Matthew 7:7-11

There's something powerful about a bold, direct request.

We've all avoided someone we thought might ask us for something. (It's hard to say no.)

Nobody enjoys eating a sandwich in front of their dog.
Matthew 21:22

Asking is powerful...but asking in faith is double powerful. God loves to reward our faith.
Praise
Matthew 21:15-16

Psalm 9:1-2
Isaiah 61:3 “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness”
- Praise is a powerful, strengthening, liberating, heart gladdening, connection with God!
Worship
John 4:24
Psalm 63:1-4
Psalm 96:9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him all the earth.
Prayer connects us with God spiritually, mentally, emotionally physically!
