The Passion of Christ
The traditional Christian Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday (commemorating the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem at which Jesus was celebrated by the people waving palm branches). He was crucified during that week and then rose from the dead early the next Sunday morning.
Acts 1:1-3
What was Christ's passion?
The word passion here literally means suffering.
1 Peter 3:18 NKJV
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
Jesus' passion was his suffering and death by crucifixion.
