Passage: Proverbs 4:20-23
Living from the Heart
Proverbs 4:20-23
Out of your heart (spirit and soul) are the issues of life.
(outgoings, exits, boundaries, deliverance, source)
Just as the blood (that gives life) goes out from the heart to the whole body, forces go out of your inward being and fashion your life. (“Out of you heart are the driving forces of your life”)
“I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.”
Proverbs 119:32
“Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart”
1 Samuel 16:7
Why? Because by looking at a man’s heart he can see his outgoings, his direction, his boundaries, his inner thoughts and desires.
Matthew 12:33-35
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things!
You don’t produce what you desire.
You reproduce what you are!

After a while, a church becomes much like its pastor.
Your life is a reflection of what is in your heart!
Change your heart. Change your life!
Your heart dictates the words you speak.
Your heart dictates the attitudes you have.
Your heart dictates the actions you take.
Your heart dictates the results you experience.
Before your life can change, you heart must change.
You must fill it with good treasure!
