ALIVE
It's good to be ALIVE…physically, mentally and spiritually alive!
God originally made man COMPLETELY ALIVE.
Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:19-20a
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;
Genesis 2:21-24
And the Lord caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh.
Again, Adam spoke creatively…and prophetically, speaking forth the parameters of marriage by the life of God.
Adam spoke and acted intellectually, creatively and prophetically because God’s life and breath were in every part of his being.
John 20:1-16
John 20:19-22
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.
We who have believed in and received Jesus are made FULLY ALIVE!
In the meantime,
If we believe it, God’s life emanating from our spirits can
heal our bodies
increase our intelligence
spark our creativity
improve our ability
inspire us prophetically.
To be fully alive is to walk in the power of the breath and spirit of God!
Believers in Jesus are FULLY ALIVE!
1 John 5:11-12
And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life and this life is in his Son.
He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.
