Going to Church
Hebrews 10:16-25
I was recently talking to someone on Facebook about God, faith and church. They assured me of their faith in God and confidence in the fact that they were in right relationship with God having rededicated their life to Him not long ago...but they told me that they do NOT attend church. They saw no reason to do that...”after all, Church attendance doesn't save anybody” they said.
Why go to church?
There are the standard and obvious reasons we attend church services...
-
Connect with God
-
Worship God
-
Be Taught about God
We're supposed to “Be the Church”...not just go to church.
3 reasons about you and I BEING and GOING TO the church!
-
We're a Family
We don't always see eye to eye or get along, but we're family. We need each other We suffer together. We rejoice together.
The Church is to be A LOVING FAMILY!
-
We're a Team
Everybody loves a winning team!
Jesus ministered with a team.

We're an Army
We are engaged in the war of all wars.
Every one of us is.
It's a battle for the eternal souls of human beings.
The Church is the Army of God!
Every service, ministry, project...is a battle.
What we do matters.
What we do counts.
The Church is to be A MIGHTY ARMY!
What we do as individuals determines whether or not the Church is...
