Faith vs. Fear 3

Passage: Mark 4:35-40

Faith vs. Fear 3

“How to Inject Faith rather than Fear
into your Atmosphere”

Mark 4:35-40
The disciples were full of fear and empty of faith.
Jesus was full of faith and empty of fear.

The disciples had fear in their atmosphere.
Jesus had faith in his atmosphere.

The faith atmosphere of his heart affected the stormy atmosphere of his situation!

How can we inject faith into our atmosphere?
One powerful way of doing that is with our words!
Your words can deliver the power in your heart into your situation.

Jesus made two powerful statements that affected, adjusted and finally controlled his situation.

Let us go over to the other side.
Peace, be still!
(Hush now.  Be still [muzzled])

Jesus spoke faith words directly to that which inspired fear!
Once Jesus spoke, verbalized or confessed the objective, the goal…he never said anything any different!
In fact, he laid down for a nap!
Hebrews 4:3 says, “we which have believed do enter into rest”

When he spoke the second time, it was a command for the situation to come into line with his original objective!
Faith is injected into our atmosphere through faith words!

Proverbs 12:18
Proverbs 15:4
Proverbs 18:21

Mark 11:12-14, 20-23
curse = to execrate (opposite of consecrate)
To remove from God’s special use, to curse.

2 Corinthians 4:13
Speaking is a normal and expected evidence and manifestation of believing!

Watch the power of words in the ministry of Jesus.
Mark 5:22-42

Hebrews 13:5-6
Faith comes by hearing God’s Word.
So, say God’s word in the face of that which inspires fear!

Notice:  HE HAS SAID…THAT WE MAY BOLDLY SAY!

Your bold confession of God’s promise will inject your atmosphere with faith…
a faith that conquers fear!
