Victory Reports: Finances

We received a phone call from a family who needed financial help. We gave them $500 with no questions asked. The next week we felt led to help another family member who lost his house in a wild fire with another $500 gift.
Well today we got a call from my wife’s boss who told her, “Congratulations we have decided to give you a $500/month raise.” Praise God!!!
I have been training to be a full stylist at my job for quite sometime and never got anywhere despite my supervisor’s promise of being finished in 11 weeks. Finally after months of trying to fix it myself I gave the situation to the Lord and in two weeks I received my full license! Now I’m making 10% more each check and bringing in more than I thought I would.
My family and I have been going to Victory for about four months and just became members. We've always attended church but found ourselves much closer to God since joining Victory. We have accepted Christ since we began to attend and have come to really understand the concept of giving by faith.
My wife and I have both gotten new jobs and the only reason is because we have put Christ our king first!
