I love my church! That's right. I'm not looking for another one either. Yeah, I know. I'm the pastor. Well...there are a lot of pastors that are looking for another church to lead...because they don't “like” the one they're presently leading. But I like my church. Better yet, I love it!
First of all, Victory Church is a church that stands for something. I love that. My church stands for Truth in a world full of deceit. It stands for Love while so many people are filled with hate. And it stands for faith in the midst of an unbelieving generation. I love that my church stands for something...and it stands for things worth standing for...living for...even dying for. Jesus made it possible. He taught us that there are principles, values, precious things worth dedicating ourselves to. My church believes in that.
Another reason I love my church is that it's filled with people I love to hang out with! Faith people. Jesus people. And they're Fun people too! They'll encourage you when you're down, pray for you when you hurt and support you when you make mistakes. I love the Victory people!
Oh! I have another really good reason I love my church! When the Lead Pastor isn't speaking...it's still really, really good! Ha ha ha! Yeah. Our pastoral staff rocks! We don't have off services. It doesn't matter who is speaking. It's going to be excellent, relevant, thought provoking and soul stirring. The Holy Spirit is always present to do powerful things in all of our lives. The music is great. The Children's and Student's ministries are great. The small groups are great! Our church isn't about a leader. It's about Jesus and People!
I love my church!
